Default My new toy :D

Got myself a new toy for playing out in - its a bit of a giggle and I had so much fun yesterday Green-Laning

What a giggle - a nice set of KL71 mud tyres going on tomorrow. and then a lift kit coming soon aswell - should be enough to see me through some of the muddier green-lanes, although I managed to do well on road tyres yesterday and didn't get stuck once

yesterday was a right riot on some local green-lanes - some very technical bits and some good old deep water bits too - had the water licking the bottom of the doors a few times and filled my front indicators up like fishtanks LOL

Nice 1 , off topic but is there any updates due for your track car thread? I was enjoying that till the updates slowed down

Nice truck, always liked them.

You driving that to the Ring this weekend? Cool

Bet you don't drive it like the hire SJs though! Looks too nice for that kind of use!

Them hire SJ's will be taking some more abuse from me this weekend coming - I can't wait.

The L200 is going to the ring - looking forward to driving to view points instead of 4 hour hikes

Also the l200 is a VERY capable truck offroad - a couple of inches on the suspension lift will make it much better, and a set of 32" tyres and it will be spot on

Ah, good point about getting to the photo points - this was my Cossie at the Karousel - not a good plan taking a low car up there, the L200 will rock it!

Drove up from Edgars, saving an hours walk!

Also, remember this SJ? This was yours last time!

Chip - its had a relatively easy life by the previous owner, apart from the paint on the car being too soft and scratches far too easily, loads of small marks here and there that you can only see from about 10" away. Anyway, its fun for offroading and does the job well, not too posh neither - its a commercial truck at the end of the day

do you use sump/tank guards at all?? there are a few i have seen around some quarry's near me and the have little bump guards on the front, but you can see the sump and diff just behind it and they look unprotected... doing road rallies, i know that some of the roads they go down, i have been down and you will need a guard, or is it all just the height that helps??
