I run cossie management, its great makes the car so much more responsive and nicer to drive.
The power will depend largely on the condition of your engine and how much boost you are willing to run, the advantage of this system over mfi is that you have the ability to accurately fuel high boost levels.

The life expectancy of the gearbox depends upon many things including how much power you push through it and how you treat it, if you do hard launches everywhere it will die quickly, but an uprated box and clutch is most certainly desirable.

The cossie conversion is not the cheapest to get done however my ECU sells for the same price now as it did when i brought it, so the depreciation when i get rid of it is very very low

I selected cossie management because of the wide number of people who can map it such as stu at msd, karl at nms, amhed, paul hills at ea and others, with alternative systems such as gotech you have a more limited choice of people with experience in mapping it.

Every management system has its good and bad points and is only as great as the mapper, but due to its age and the experience people have you can get great results from cossie management.
