Default Need a new pc

Well my 7 year old 1.33ghz pc is finally dying and im losing patience when it takes ages just to bring up the start menu! Usually I just use my pc for internet and processing pictures from my digi camera, but im looking into playing games like Rfactor and Race.

Im looking at spending up to £600 on a new desktop PC and monitor, so what would you guys recommend? Obviosuly it needs to be fast, reliable and needs to have good after sales service if it does go wrong.

Cheers.

£600 won't get you a gaming PC. For a decent spec gaming PC (and thats decent, but no "the best" or "top spec") you're looking at nearer £1000.....

£600 will get a damn nice PC, but don't expect it to be the best stuff for local or online gaming or playing HiDef media such as BluRay.....

Not too fussed about Bluray tbh. Im just looking to get the best PC possible for my money as spending 1k on a PC seems a bit too much to me.
