Think I need a new rad is it a good idea to go for a alloy one. Allso will my fans fit to a alloy rad What have you guys got make etc
Thanks
Thanks
I have a 50mm pro alloy one on my Sapphire which I can't fault. Fit is really good and fans bolted straight on with no hassle.
Only problem I had when changing from the standard rad to an alloy one was that the fans never seemed to cut out once they had come on even when driving down the motorway. Apparently this is due to the alloy boss around the fan switch holding more heat, brought an uprated fan switch from MSD (cost about Ł18) and fans now cut in and out fine.

coolers are not just about cores its designs too, i know pro alloy use the same cores as radtec as there suppliers are the same since pro introduced there 60mm version. Ah redesigned there coolers basically due to the copycatness in the market so obviously i'm biased to say there better as they use better cores and design... IMO i would go Ah plenty of people go radtec as there quite cheap, depends on what you want. i have the old Ah spec cooler and new spec rad and they work great, alex is trying to get some big spec cossie's to use his coolers to prove how good they actually are... i can get discount on ah stuff for people if they contact me i never make anything just about i help them and they give me discounts
