its been running sweet for a long time since i had my car tuned because when i got my car tuned it solved the problem.


but when my cars idling its hardly on 1000, so sometimes it seems like it might cut out.

is there eny way and if there is how can i change the revs, i thought maybe i can turn the revs up slightly.

please help

 

you can adjust the idling
by turning the screw on the trottle body

cheers mate. is that simple to do yeh. dnt know too much lol, dnt need to takes anything out before i do that do i?

 

the cable on the throttle cable bracket? has a screw also wind it anti clock wise a touch and you will here your revs coming up.
i has same problem just adjusted it

 

Would sort it short term...idle screw though



Check for any air leaks as well just incase, boost pipes especially...could cause it.

 

you shouldn't adjust it with throttle cable as that should be set so the throttle switch clicks as soon as the throttle is moved adjust it with the air screw under right hand side of throttle body, screw it out a touch

 

as above dont adjust the throttle cable, adjust the idle speed control valve on the throttle body, thats what its there for

 

can i just adjust it easily or do i have to like disconnect the wiring plug and unscrew the 2 securing bolts as if i was to clean the valve from the air cleaner housing thingy lol

 

Yeah it's literally just turning the screw on the ISCV...
