I want to get my escort turbo set up but who do you think s the best to use in your opion

 

Never been to totd but was very happy with the work at powers.

 

I suspect most people will say Power engineering. A few people on this forum have a bad experiences of Torque of the Devil.

 

PE have no rollers at the mo, There having a new set put in with in 2 weeks or so.

i bhavent heard abad word from PE so it would be PE for me!

Im not 100% sure, its got a chip pace intercooler mocal oil cooler exhaust, filter, how much do you think i should be looking for

 

I had a PE 1.9 engine in my S1 years ago,never missed a beat and still lives to this day....people(or some) knock PE,but my experience with them was all good!...i'd go back to them any day

Well im biased I guess as im a mate of guzzler, but i would go to powers personally.

That said, ive got friends who have been to TOTD and had good work done, so im sure both companies are capable.

 

i have a few friends that train in there!!....my mate used to own that place until a year or so ago.......just avoid the baby oiled freak guys that offer you roids thats all........too hard core for me....i like my 40kg dumbells and the sight of rich hot women....and a steam room

 

i agree hence i now am a member of 2 gyms,,, cant give up the steam room or sauna

infact due to the EXCELENT showers in the works,,,, i finish training there at 9ish and then go back to the other gym for a steam/sauna and then shower before i go home

the works is cool though, theres a few on juice but theres also alot who are serious and tristen is clean also and always got time to help ect

 

if you want to get big,then the Works is a good gym....but there is more than a FEW on the juice in that place......i know 6 guys that train there and 4 are on it...they can't be the only ones!

TOTd helped me out loads, chris even left the site and drove around looking for a part for me ( i wasnt booked in btw just turned up) and kester fixed it there and then. So they get the thumbs up from me.

Power engineering, but as Rad said they are having a new dyno fitted so it will be a week or so until they are up and running again!

As for TOTD Kester the mechanic is superb at his job and i couldnt fault him at all.

it appears that this is a wind up thread,due to rs-turbo-blue only posting 8 times up till now.......If im wrong,i apologise in advance.Just strange how them two names POP UP.If you are in,or near to london,there are loads of tuners within reaching distance.
Going by previous threads there are alot of people who like to gang up,but i feel you should only have an opinion if you have used that company...
I have used both, p.e a few years ago,and more recently totd.
To be completely honest,when i used p.e,i wasnt impressed at all.(this was about 4 years ago) and have never gone back. I recently used totd twice......and was extremely happy with the service they supplied..
Ive seen on here that people dont like totd,but that all appears to stem from one incedent,with one customer.....and everyone jumped on the bandwagon.so cant be classed as personal experiences.
(or at least thats how it looks from an outside point of view)

If we are going on opinions from other people my mate's girlfriend recently phoned around to try and get their car setup,and due to ford fair everyone was extremely busy.When she phoned p.e. she said they were really rude,and told her,"we're not even thinking bout it" as we are moving our rollers.And her reply to when could you fit me in? was "Dont Know Yet". Now my friend isnt into internet forums etc and hasnt got a clue about the shit that goes on on here,so wouldnt be biased towards any company.Like i said,they phoned around.no one could fit them in for at least a week or so.My mates bird considered them fucking rude,whether they were busy or not.

Thats actually quite funny tbh mate as 4 years ago it was Chris todd that was at PE!!!

 

i dont believe so. There are more than two tuners within a reasonable distance. I could understand if rs-turbo-blue said " im just around the corner from them,and dont want to drive too far" or something.. It just appears that these two companys are always pitched up together on here....you never get any other companys pitched up against each other.Too much stiring going on on this site lately,and personally,it seems a bit pathetic.

 

i am aware of that......but it wasnt actually chris who worked on my car. I dont know the name of the bloke who did,and didnt really speak to anyone at p.e.

To be honest i didnt care who worked on it,i just wanted the car sorted.
