We hated the 6500 Classic, so sent those back. Didn't like the odd buttons with the chrome trim, made it difficult to text.
So, N82 or 6220 Classic? Or something else? They both look good, some say the 6220 Classic feels 'cheap'. To be honest, I just want a phone that I can type texts fast and do the basics, I'm not really into the gimmicks.
Don't want something huge like the N95.

I'm well fussy with phones
I also had the same probs with the 6500.
Nokia 6301
a couple of annoying things 1. is when you go through the phone book with the letters then you press down to scroll the first push doesn't scroll
2. it sometimes crashes when someone miss calls and you try to answer catch them

or 6300 if your really fussy
1. prob is the on/off button rattles 2. when you text it doesn't leave the screen you have to exit yourself.
other than that they are really good phones not walkman or gps tom tom (people get lost walking around
)

6220 does feel cheap, but the button size and layout is excellent, specially if you are a texter...
I really like the 6300 aswel, but it doesn't do enough in the spec for me. I have found, since having my N73 for the best part of 2 yrs, that having QuickOffice is almost invaluable, aswell as a few other features the 6300 doesn't do, so looks like I am stuck with N series phones, of which at the mo, there aren't anty I like

I tried most of the popular phones and found most to be a pain with the computer programs and Ipod functions when you want a phone to be a phone.

I don't use mine for GPS or MP3 player, and barely use the camera other to take pics of random stuff and txt it to people, but I do use it a lot to look at word and excel files, read/send emails, look at websites, etc... To me it's an information tool within a phone, and I wouldn't really wanna be without that function nowadays...
