Default afr guages

i am looking in to fitting one of these at the moment (stack)but what i dont understand is do i have to fit an extra boss in my exhaust or will this replace the lambda sensor i have.
the car is a small turbo escort, i have had problems with it being lean in the past without knowing so i have replaced air meter and having the pump and wiring checked but will and faulty lambda cause this, plus the car has its cat removed.cheers darren

You don't have to run two sensors if the wideband also outputs a simulated narrow-band output.

will be honest mate i dont know about wideband outputs and that, its just that i ran my car not knowing it was very lean so i have see this gauge(stack) on rainbirds site and thought it was a very good investment that it dont happen again.
