This may appear a silly question, but im just building up a series2 and i wondered- the fuel lines that go from the outlets of the metering unit to the injectors, does it matter which one goes to which. I know they have a ough shape and length but a couple of mine could be one of 2 ways. Just wondered if the outlets on the m-unit have number orders like the injectors would have.

Nope, makes no difference. They all fire simultaneously anyway. you not got it on the road yet Mike?

 

They dont even fire, its continuous injection.

It makes no difference what order they go in, but you should only be able to fit them in one order anyway unless you're really trying to be different!

 

Haz- nah not on the road yet. I didnt touch it for about 8months or so at one point, lost all interest. Just recently thought i'd best crack on with it again lol.
