TBH I'm not a big fan of the new white. A bit too bright/blueish, especially for an oldskool car.
So either diamant-white or black!

Just go to the Ford website -> car configurator. It's got a blue-ish tone in it which makes it look brighter.

Don't paint it diamond white. I wish I hadn't painted mine, looks so yellow/brown when there is something proper white next to it, like snow on winter.

there are loads of shades of diamond white, so pick the whitest.
straight out of tin white is what i've been recommended on my diamond white xr.

Dave have you sat and had a look through the colour charts for different whites at a paintshop or are you judging based on the colours you've seen on different cars?

Im going by what i've seen on cars.
I was in a bodyshop place today and did think about looking at colour charts, but it would be hard to tell unless it was on the car in broad daylight I reckon.
I quite like the frozen white as it has that touch of blue through it but is allot whiter than diamond.

I know what your saying mate, I was having a look at different greys on various colour charts on Friday for having wheels painted - spoiled for choice when you look at all the possibilitys, although I guess often too much choice can be a bad thing.
Good for seing the different tints in different paint though.
