How easy (or hard) is it to wire in the engine loom for a zetec into a Mk3 loom?
What parts will i need (from zetec donor car) and where and what do i need to connect the wires to, or if anyone has a wiring diagram or detailed instructions that would be great thanks.

 

pre pats 1.8 loom is only 5 wires to hook up, 2 switched lives, permanant live, earth strap, rev counter.
when you strip the donor car you will see that you have an engine harness that then just plugs into the ecu harness, you will only need the bit of the loom that hooks up to the edis module, engine harness and then back to the ecu.

i think if you get a 2.0 mondeo, early one, you can get ecu type "deep, desk or dewy" which is non pats
