Looks mint!

 

na the road going ones are never mint but it is quite clean for a 23 yr old escort that gets used like it should do

its still on its original inner outer sills etc which is nice. under arches are mint, chassis rails, boot floor etc spot on

 

Mine was nice too till I took it apart

carry on, the more that get stripped each and every one that gos makes mine more rare

wife is begging me to keep this one and store it for a good few years, cant be arsed with the hassle lol

inlet/rocker cover is differant when i had it and so is the dumpvalve
i think the bloke who bought it off adi had popped the headgasket
also the head was proper shiney too
is the breather venting to atmosphere too

not sure on the breather i think it is

engine runs super smooth and quiet, not even any top end rattles atall, no smoke atall, you obv done a good job on the rebuild mate

turbos strong, there is a thing in the history for the turbo from turbo technics stating model number etc so dont know if its std or not

their should of been a plug on top of the breather to block the hole off
the vacum pipe postions have changed to fella so has the inlet
i rung turbo technics up and he said that that is a standard turbo
but when i spoke to the last owner his mate worked in their so done a few extra things on it for him
thier was a bit of play and a little whine from it but it never changed in all the time i had it

 

hmmn not sure m8 it seems to be working, car stalls immediatly when you remove the filler cap. i think its a case of if its not boke dont fix it

was out in it today had some part worns fitted to front, i had 3 people approach me for a look, one even took a few photos lol, never even had that when i had my escort cossie

s1's really are in a world of there own, somin about the way they look, even if you dont know what it is you know it must be somin special, s2s and saffs just look lame compared to these

maybe im just getting older lol

the buyer i had lined up has just bought a 206 gti ...... what a twat

so its going on ebay for a laugh px swap etc, just fancy flooding my mailbox with idiot offers, thing is though you never know what i might just get offered so for 8 quid its going on there as soon as i have it mot'd which hopefuly will be mid week


never know maybe the new owne might come on here and you will have to go all through it again lol
