What aftermarket tacho to use in org. place ?
Hi.
My tacho isn't really responding, lagging behind and genererally living it's own life. So I was wondering about replacing it with a aftermarket item.
What have you used, where did you buy it, and do you got a pic of it mounted ?
Thanks soo much!

that's an easy fix on the tach. how are your soldering skills? all that needs be done is disassemble the tach and resolder all the components and wires. i've done several now and they all work good as new.

Its an SPA tacho, with intergrated programmable shift lights and digital MPH (that i still haven't setup yet). Very nice stepper motor type very much like some of the Stack gauges AND just as good.

hello,
i bought a rev counter racetech 0-3-8 used from a braker. I want to fit it to my sierra cosworth 4wd '91. Can anyone tell me how the wires go?? the racetech has 5 on it which i don't know what they are.

thanks

Other people have fitted the mondy type(when using coilpack), or I have seen one with xr3 tacho, which looked awsome, starting at about 5 o'clock then sweeping to around about 1 o'clock.
