RUNNING COSWORTH MANGEMENT
ENGINE :
1698 bottom end built by lowman jones
full cosworth manegement running l6 ecu mapped by engine advantages (parts supplyed by oddkid creations and gadget)
cosworth breather
3 bar map sensor bought brand new
stg 2 turbo 360 bearing ect
standard head and cam
radtec front mount intercooler
green injectors
running 230 bhp and a massive 260 lb of torque !!!!! (this car is fast )
koni shocks
magnex exhaust
cossie 4x4 brakes

i bought this car to make it mint and leave standard of which that plan didnt last to long as it was abit hard having a 360 bhp cossie that was sold and then jumping into a standard rs turbo.so me and a friend decided cossie management was the way forward also still to keep it all ford.so all the parts for the conversion was sorced at great expense (dont tell the wife) and placed on the car.while i was pottering about in it the head gasket went so i thought sod it lets go the whole hog as i knew a friend with a low comp bottom end so in all that went then a few weeks later it was of to ford fair to have a look about (and not go spending any more money) of which i saw a stg 2 turbo brand new £400 quid later along with the radtec front mount intercooler that i saw cheap (£250) was on its way home with me!!! as to say this car owes me a fortune is a under statement
all this was put on and it went for a mapping session at engine advantages
now the story is over
then the problem came i started to feel like 30 year old donkey kong in the car and the wife didnt like it as "it aint as comfy as the cossie"
then a nice cossie came up for sale and i bought it.i was gonna try and keep it but i have not drove it since its last mot and now it just a waste of a good car sitting on the drive
i took the car for a mot in which it needed abit of welding and a wheel bearing of which has all been done then it just sat there with a cover over it.now we need a new boiler and a few other bits for the house i am affraid it has to go (and i cant deal with all the moaning) from her "what do ya need to cars for"
the car was also used for some filming on a program (which some of you might remember)about pensions of which the presenter drove it and filmed from inside it which was quite clever i have shown some pics of this
the car is in quite good condition as you can see from the pictures.unfortunatly there are a few chips and bubbles of rust coming up but i aint advertising a minter or it would be alot more than what the reserve is priced at!!!! if you wanna know how much i want for it email me or just bid and find out
