misfire at 15psi??

Default misfire at 15psi??

Getting a missfire at 15psi boost could it be a fooked cam?? or something worse?? was getting mapped at the time so fuel,timing etc were ok??? Also the head is quit tappety 1.6 cvh by the way.

Its like overboost but its not that as im runnin gotech.

usually ignition when on boost, from my experiance sounds like a machine gun going off

check your plug gaps
my old s1 would misfire on boost as the gaps where a tad bit to big

As a little bit of a side note, the car will not idle any leaner than 12:1. My diagnosis is th cam.

If weather is good tomorrow i will get the cam out and send you some pics of it Rick,just hope it is the cam and nothing to serious.

GUP.. put new plugs in it today and still no joy

The gaps are fine mate,RICK is mapping the car for me and he thinks it could be cam problems as the head is quit rattly aswell so goin to check that tomorrow depending on weather.Maybe needing a new cam and followers if anyone has got any??
