Problem with old mans car part 2
I posted last week i think about the old mans escort estate, he said when rolling down a hill etc it was slowing down rather than just free rolling and the drivers side wheel was RED HOT.
So he got it checked out and it was the caliper sticking or something so he got a new one on, and also the discs/pads were screwed so they were changed aswell.
Now a few days on hes got exactly the same problem, car seems to pull up abit and the drivers side wheel is red hot again.
Someone said hose before, thats the only thing that wasnt replaced.

Had same prob on mine, turned out that some plonker had replaced the flexi hose and had over crimped the hose where it goes through the bracket on the shocker, so it wasnt letting pressure off on that caliper and was binding all the time. I just prised it open a bit with a screwdriver & sorted.

Cheers, defo sounding hose related then
Fingers crossed he's got it fixed by now... otherwise he'll have gone through a shitload of warped discs in the 14 months since this thread was posted.
