i have just brought a escort coss and need a new boot [just boot not fin] and front splitter does any one no where i can get one. any help would be
great.

 

pj or woodford garage or ford sell the front splitters m8 roughly Ł110 or a carbon 1 which is loads of cash. as for the boot lid second from a breaker on here mite see 1 the same colour with glass as there bonded in or Ł 130 plus vat 4 a new 1 from ford m8 off the top of my head then the hassle of paint etc but its always nice 2 have fresh metal and you could even do the rear window on the insurance

 

Boot lid is deffo same as mk5. If your not in a rush for the splitters then keep an eye out on e-bay. There's usualy things like that on there all the time.

 

i have just recently brourght a genuine ford front splitter for mine, i was surprised they still do them, and it only took a day to come to,!!!

 

I won't make new topic so I ask here. If you say that the boot in standard escort mk5 and escort cosworth is the same, why does Ford have different price and different codes for them? What is the difference between them?

 

holes pre drilled... aledgedly there are strength bars in the cossie version but I'm dubious

 

The other part numbers probably take into consideration the additional holes needed for mounting the lower spoiler and possibly the upper spoiler.

 

There is two boot versions for escort cosworth, so the other must be for the whaletail and the other must be for the single spoiler.
