Hey guys, ive just got my FRST turbo kit car working (took long enough) and its running a T3 turbo off a metro. I unfortunately found this out after i had made it fit with exhaust etc.....
I have quite a few issues with it...
1. I dont know whether the TPS is from a ERST or a FRST.
2. It has no amal valve.
3. I cant check the boost atm.
4. I cant check the A/F ratio atm.
5. It wont rev past 4k rpm at all!
6. the turbo whines but it doesnt pull any harder (i estimate it at 40bhp atm)
7. It runs rough when the Map sensor is pulled.
8. It smokes between 40c and 85c.
9. It has a slight hesitation on idle.
10. the revs climb to 2k when its hot and idles fine when the ICV is pulled.
11. I dont know if the ECU temp sensor is from an ERST or the FRST.
12. I have not set up the turbo actuator, cud it be its by passing exhaust gas to early?

I'm hoping to hook up the AFR and boost gauge soon to see where we are in those departments.

Can anyone give me any fixes to possible causes to these problems?

I also have a 165 chip but it isnt installed yet, what difference does this make to the standard map?
