At the moment i pay £101 for 6months on the golf

Its mental - had to fork out £170 (up from £165) for my Diesel everyday car and £105 for 6 months for my escort......RAGING!!!

 

This was annouced at the last budget and there was loads of threads about it.

Shocking! Yes they are definatly out at the next election, but will it be any different with the conservatives?......NO.....which is exactly why i dont vote. Until a party says their going to look after the motorist, be tough on criminals with proper sentances, and stop all this politically correct bollocks, then i certainly wont be voting. Theres just no point at the moment and i cant see that changing any time soon.

I'm a tad interested in politics, and it's that by election that David Davis resigned for today. Laughed to myself when I noticed one of the candidates that he's standing against represents a party called "Make Politicians History"

 

I caught the headlines, pretty sure they said that older cars that are high polluters are going to be hit with big increases in road tax soon. So they're fucking newer performance cars over for £400+ per year... and not content with that, they're now having a pop at the older classic performance cars too.

Fuckin arseholes.

I don't usually vote because up til now I've thought they're all as bad as each other, but I will be doing this next time, he hasn't got a hope in hell of getting back in.

 

I know carlo, ive gave up on cars mate, just too too pricey to run especially with having a house and decorating etcetc, think iL just settle for a bike probably the cheapest fun im going to get

It does seem to be getting more expensive in the UK, as a comparison my Audi A6 2.5TDi costs 360 euro per year tax. (about £280)

Much worse is my trailer, with no f****ing engine it costs me 74 euro per year.

I just saw this week that V power is 1.71 per Ltr. (£1.33), so it's not just the UK where the fuel price is going crazy.
