i was ok, just a minor graze to my leg so anything but serious for me - the main issue was getting the guy out of the other van (the silver one) as his legs had become trapped under the dash.
but after a bit of work and effort he was out, and walking fine a perfectly - thank christ!!
told by the police that its been the third accident this month on that downhill section coming into that corner!!! do you think they need to do something about that bit of road then!
never used that road before, and was supposed to have been a short cut to avoid some traffic.
coming down the hill, adjusting speed and braking for the corner when the van locked up slightly and started to slide just as the silver van came round the corner.
we were both only doing in the region of 15mph at the point of impact but it shows how bad they can result.
everyone is ok, but both vehicles obviously written off.
i feel more for the other guy, he was in such a panic state when he realised he couldnt move, and it was his brand new 08 plate van he had bought for his business!!

i have no idea.
within reason it doesnt bother me as its a company vehicle that i had.
the police werent point the finger at anyone, and the guy with the other van lives on that road and said its so bad when it rains.
everything was amicable etc, everyone generaly chatting etc and aactually all got on well, even helping each other to remove tools from the vans before they got taken away.
i guess it will be down to the insurance companies to sort out.
but obviously all details exchanged, and weve all said we will keep in contact to get it sorted out if the insurance companies try to drag it out etc, the guys wife has even phoned me since the event to make sure im ok and to let me know how her husband is doing.
