Loads of bits of a state blue 98 gti including running gear. I orginally bought this car to knock about in but the car was involved in a very light n/s bump and as the clutch had gone as well, i thought it better to break it then start anymore projects!!I broke the car about three months ago and have the following bits for sale which are all open to reasonable offers as they aren`t really doing anything and i need the space.

This was probably the only escort ive ever seen with absolutely no rust on it,so any panels i have left are really clean which are the tailgate and bonnet i believe,must check though!!

Ok,heres what i can remember:

- Full running gear including box (but will require a new clutch),loom with a clifford alarm in it and i have the fob from key back,fuel tank with pump,downpipes,driveshafts etc. Basically all you need for a conversion.

- Half leather trim, all door panels, dash etc and silver faced clocks.

- Alloys SOLD

- Suspension SOLD

Countless other bits and bobs but you will have to bear with me while i check.

All these parts are going to be reasonable prices i.e approx £150 for all the running gear, but please no stupid offers!!

Hi all,sorry for the delay,been working i`m afraid. Ok, to answer your questions, Pete,thanks for phoning and sorry i couldn`t have been of more help mate. Thameside, full interior is £120 mate, it`s in good nick, theres a little drivers seat wear where they all go, but not bad in any way.Rest of trim is excellent. scottg17, front bumper is broken on the passenger corner, but i believe it has the fogs if you want them seperate, £20 for the fogs mate. how much for full engine etc? whats the mileage on the engine?

 

Call it £130 for the full engine/box package. Engine done about 80k ( will check clocks for you) and ran very sweet, no smoke or rattles. It has the downpipes,loom,all sensors,rad,fans,red tag key with ignition column ( for the ecu immobiliser)and there was a clifford alarm built into the loom.fuel tank with pump but no exhaust as i`ve already sold this on. Car went really well too and always started on the button and i literally drove it over to the garage and stripped it there and then, so i know it was running perfectly. Its been stored in the back of my old escort van since which is bone dry. Let me know fella, i could deliver if your not too far away for fuel costs...which aren`t cheap i know!!

 

Ok, i'll forget the brakes but any chance of the handbrake adjuster and rear shoes?!!?

Hi mate,thanks, will keep it in mind. I`m amazed that i haven`t had more interest in the bits. These are really good parts,the escort being the better model engine to choose if your doing a ZVH conversion, well according to fast ford anyway!!!!
