Plumb it into an oil breather tank+ same with the one on the cam cover.
Both Piped to a bretaher pot and then put your filter onto that.

I wouldn't run anything un-baffled there or you may just end up losing an awful lot of oil up your breather pipe/can when you brake hard!!
Get an original Ford one, either use it or if you intend to 'upgrade', then at least figure out how it works first.

I have had the Ford one replicated so internally its baffled the oil wont flow up the breather...
The catch tank also i have is the same, but for any oil that does get through it will return to sump via the return pipework.

what you mean un-baffled?
i havent got the baffled item i just have the plastic thing on the side. with a gromit in it that looks like it ventilates to fresh air.
i could run a pipe into it so it doesnt come out, and run it up to an oil catch tank, along with the oil breather for the head.
the breather will be located above the height of the cam cover breather and piped with ~ 50cm of tubing.
will this be enough?? and what am i asking for to get the standard item?

The gromit in the top has a valve in it that then links a hose back to the inlet manifold

There is an outlet at the top right of it, the valve slips into that which connects to a breather pipe which would normally go to the air filter.

Can you not take better pic of the part you mean, cos you've circled the block, head, crank case breather, starter motor, engine mounting arm and a bit of rope!

I think it's a PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve.
