Default Proximity alarms

After the recent theft of my mate's S1, i'm looking into buying a proximity alarm for mine. Been on tinternet and they seem easy to fit. Is this the case and anyone got any advice as to which one to get ? cheeRS.

Hello mate i'm a clifford installer. I would recommend Clifford all the time. You want to go for a concept 650, 650 mk2 or intelliguard 950 as all of these have proximity sensors included. I can supply them or you can buy them on ebay. They are relatively easy to fit or you can get a competant installer to fit them. I can supply fitting instructions for them and wiring diagrams to show you where to connect into on your car. Microscan also do proximity alarms - they're not too bad and are a DIY fit. You can get these on ebay or at your local Halfords or Motorworld store. Hope this helps, if you need anymore info give us a shout. Cheers Lee
