Right, after a disasterous "upgrade" from my N73 to an E51 (which is shite) I reckon I should probably stick to N series phones
Thing is, I don't know which one I want!
I actually like my N73, I just wanted a bit "more" from a phone : more internal memory would be nice, faster OS is always good, etc etc.
Things I definitely need are;
- The classic N series "Active Standby" apps on the "desktop" - shortcuts to most used items. Since the N70 I had ages ago I can't live without this!
- Office apps : Nokia Quick Office (MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint) with Adobe PDF reader has proven to be exceptionally usefull, wouldn't want to lost that...
- Mobile internet : specially since half the time, I can set it so that it uses the MMS messaging access point to connect costing me fuck all on my plan

- email. Whilst I use the gmail mobile plugin, been using the pop and smtp server stuff for email retrieval, which on my N73 was good and quick, on the E51 it was DIRE... Would like the userbility of the N73's email system...
And I want a solid phone - not a slide or a flip/clam phone, so that rules out the N95. The N82 looks shite to be fair - and it looks like I would have BIG problems with the buttons on it - I like big buttons for my fat thumbs
I could make an exception for the N96 as it looks very slick, but the buttons are quite small...
I like the look of the N78, but a) no idea how it performs, and b) can't see it listed on T-Mobiles site, so I doubt they do it....
What do people think?

Pops, I'd fucking LOVE one, but I ain't paying for it! And can't be arsed to move to o2 anyway - can't get em on T-Mobile......
Despite what a lot of people say slagging T-Mobile off, I've never had any issue's with em, and cos I've been with em so long, they usually sort me out. That said, I haven't tried to return an upgrade before, so that could change very quickly!

Well, true to form, T-Mobile have been very good about it. Rang em up and told em I didn't like it, and they sent me a pre-paid Special Delivery bag with a returns note in it, and once they recieve it back they said they will reset my account to how it was, and I will be eligeable for a new upgrade, and could even have the £10 per month discount I was initially offered - which I'll probably do and stick with my N73 as I can't find a phone I want other than the iPhone 3G and I cna't justify paying out hundreds for one of them!
