Battery in the boot..

Ok,i think im going to put the bat in the Fiesta in the boot,so i have abit of space for the airfilter....
Has anyone done this conversion,on any car??? IF so,what do i need?? I know i would have to run a live down the car,but would i also have to run a earth too,or mouth that in the engine bay somewhere??? Probabley a REALLY obvious answer,but ust asking???

Any idea,whats the correct gauge wire???
And when the batts in the boot,just leave the negative terminal on it alone,and earth what did go to it to the body in the engine bay???

ok, to add more detail, vechiclewiringproducts sell all you need
a junction box to extend the live from the engine bay to the boot
1metre of black 300amp cable, to have some earth the engine to the chassis in the engine bay and some from the battery to the chassis in the boot
around 7-8 metres of red to run to the rear, via a FIA kill switch
get proper clamp ends, again see my sig build for pictures of the parts
get a dry cell battery for safety
