looking at buying my mates saff cossie engine been stripped down to have a bottom end rebuild (new shells and crank regrind) whats this likely to cost me to do it if i buy it

also will need head gasket ect . i can do all the labour but are all the parts costly.

i have only had rs turbo's im sure the yb is more costly but just want to know if its going to be worth it for the money.

any help much appricated

Cost won't really be that much more, unless you want a fancy headgasket.
Even a group a h/g is £55 or so, a escos one £25, machining costs will be the same.
