hi people i know its a common problem but its a 1985 escort rs turbo, there is a tad or rust on the underside but nothing serious


but after rain etc when i lift the tailgate water comes out and you can here it sloshing around inside, were not talking bucket fulls but maybe a half cup full

will i have to take off the boot spoiler and silicone the mounts?

 

probably rotten bottom corner of window on the tailgate under the rubber

 

so do you wrekn to dribble in on the rubber some of that fluid stuff thats designed to cure such leaks in windows?
