Is it meant to be 3mm on all metering units?, as everyone who is selling them seems to either not know where it is, or dont have a 3mm adjuster but a flat head screw or torque bit or some other random adjuster

I always thought it was 3mm as my one that has just packed up has a 3mm adjustment, if u lot could tell me whats on yours it would be gratefully appreciated

its ment to be a 3mm allen key and there are 2 types iirc one is a long shaft with the allen key adjustment at the bottom and the other is a flat head screw which you remove to reveal the allen key adjustment screw and it is located on the metering unit between the metering flap and the injection head

 

Thanks mate i had the one with the allan key down the shaft, so there are 2 different types?

 

yep there are two types

 

Mine(xr4i) was 3mm allen key, just use a "T" allen key, I got some snap on ones from the USAF(out of the skip) as they could not be accounted for, so boss did not want them there.
