Question Advice on ecu chips

I had mine on the rollers a month ago and the chip I've got at the mo holds 12psi, no idea what make it is (I've not checked yet)
spec is
standard engine
-31 act
Radtec FMIC
Piper Cams operatator on the r/r said they would peak near 6.5k and the current limiter is 5.5k
Edit - And Magnex system and Pipercross Cone Filter

Does anyone recommend any good chips that might suit my setup and take the boost up a bit

A ported head adn hybrid turbo are next on the list after MOT's for 2 motors
Would much prefer to go efi but thats a bit off i think

any aftermarket chip will do the job, all they do on a erst is to remove the boost limit allowing you to run more than the std chips 10 psi limit

superchip, turbosystem chipped ecus are on ebay now and again or you could buy a motorsport developments chip from stu on here

There are two main types of chip for an rs turbo.. the Superchips and MSD type upgrades remove the boost cut only.. the AB style ones are actually custom-mapped.. It's old hat now and isn't really worth any companys investing time and money into cracking the ecu to custom map it.

So I would really be beter putting it towards efi?
I think I'll get the screwdriver out and see what chip I've got anyway

Speak to your local tuning companies to see what ECU upgrades they offer
