i just been out side makin the most of my day off and trying 2 fit my intercooler but it seems that no matter how hard i try the boost pipe sites right next to the top water hose and will be inposible 2 get the hoses on or off did any1 else have this problem and how did u fix it????pics would really help....took me long enough 2 get the bumper off lol

 

does any1 no what the top rad plate does because it looks out of place

 

i have one on my series 2 and i had the same prob.the replacement rad bracket you get fitted ok on mine but yeah the boost hose and rad pipe was really close,i had to ease the rad over only by a bit then clamp the boost hose on,it does make it easier if you are using samco hoses as i found the standard one abit thicker.Other than the hose problem i found the intercooler works spot on and still have no probs with it,just bit of a poor design i think.

 

do you get any more lag with it?.....it is a bit of a poor design!...(fitted now)but engines still not running
