1989 RS Turbo S2 Restored Rolling Shell In Primer

Ford Escort RS Turbo Series 2 1989 – Logbook and ID present.
Was sent away a 3 years ago for a full restoration and respray – unfortunately ill health of the gentleman performing the work prevented completion.
The restoration saw the car taken back to bare metal where needed!

The car has had the following panels:
Sills (Both sides)
Wings (Both sides)
Front Panel
Slam Panel
Scuttle Panel
It has also had a replacement door sourced for the passenger side and a 90spec bumper restored and fitted.

Everything that comes with it:
Full Bodykit, Mirror casings, Bonnet vents, 90Spec Rear Spoiler. 3 Jacking Covers are present, the missing one is being chased up at the mo!
Also comes with all the glass shown, there is a small crack on the front windscreen but it would certainly be enough to get it on the road and give auto windscreens a bell!




It is honestly 95% done – has a guide coat on the primer.
The sunroof water channels inside are the only area that still require attention, the top of the roof is fine. I was in discussions about replacing the roof for a non sunroof one in preparation for track/top speed use, but unfortunately it never happened.
The original slam panel with the ID tags on is included:

Now, I originally paid £500 for the rolling shell, £250 to have it transported from West Yorkshire to Aylesbury, £480 for parts/panels, £1500 in labour and £250 to get it home again…
Will take £1500 for it as it stands.
