hi there is there a right way and a rong way to take core plugs out as i have just pantid my motor wich is being rebilt and i wont to get this motor right first time the only thing i have never done to a motor is swop the core plugs i have the new ones . i just need to no is there any thing i should look out for and wots the best way to do them thanks for your time in this mater

 

just done the exact same stuff to my cossie!got new core plugs from ford,best way is to hit them at the bottom of the plug then once they have spun enough get some pliers and pull them out,then refit with suitable sealant around them

i just used vauxhall grey sealant on mine

 

I use the good old Loctite 5900/5910.
