according to autodata, it's behind the panel in front of the gear lever

Exactly, you have to remove the small box and it is just under (according to a VW/Audi/Seat mechanic, myself

)

Just a note, they are NOT all there others are on the dash lower section abover drivers feet, but when here despite being a OBD looking port are NOT obd compliant, they use STAR, as my pops has one.
