Default Lads and lasses

In the traders room there is a pulley manufacturer who is doing a group buy on vernier and crank pulleys and what ever other pulleys you want.

Just thought it might be of interest as there is a 36-1 tooth pattern on there which would be handy for engine management upgrades.

I recon he could copy the Cossie management conversion stuff in really high quality looking at the stuff he does which would mean that all these half baked kits that are around with bodged on bolts would be a thing of the past and the cars may actually run better having the pointers exactly in the right spot...

If anyone has a decent cossie management conversion kit for the crank, it would be worth asking him to replicate it in his high quality workmanship....

Just been thinking, thats all....

a 36-1 crank pully is £140

nice workmanship but the discount would have to be at least 100 quid before I considered changing my 36-1

Nige! You're an engineer though!!

I don't consider £140 dear for a 36-1 complete pulley including anodising and plating......

Im not an engineer and consider that to be dear compared to what I paid for my trigger ring.
when you can get them laser cut from 5mm steel for 20-25 quid from many sites including : http://trigger-wheels.com/
I think it is expensive by comparison. Although I would like a nice shiney or fancy looking trigger wheel the fact that it costs so much simply puts me off.

even with 50% discount 70 quid its a bit rich for my liking as you can get a lazer cut steel one for less than half that price.

Just asked him about the pulley and he is making them with elongated slots to adjust the position of the missing tooth.

Does that make them more worth while?
