Just browsing and came across this have to say Van Bastern is my favourite striker of all time and this all brought back memories of the day in summer of 88 where he single handly destroyed england and then went on to score one of the greatest goals of all time in the final.

Barry deal will be done in time, i'm almost certain of that...although i'm not happy Alonso is going at all.

The problem we have is lack of money, we need to sell players to make sure we can buy. The papers always link us to Spanish players cos of Rafa and the players he's gone for in the past, but so far we've bought a relatively unknown Swiss right back and another fairly unknown Italian right back...so tbh i'm not entirely sure.

It's clear we need at least one TOP winger and then i 'think' we'll have a better chance....Babel really needs to show what he can do this season though.

As for the scum, they'll be fine without Ronaldo IMHO, they'll spend the cash and probably even more on other players.
