my fans on my pace frount mounted aint workin its all wired properly cant see no wire breaks, im thinkin its the fan switch on the engine? how easy is it to put a manual switch in the car?

 

easy mate, firstly, unplug the fan switch socket and get a piece of wire/metal and bridge the plug. If the fans switch on the its a dodgy fan switch confirmed. to put a switch in the car, tape up the old plug and make a permanant bridge using solder & suitable wire. Then seal to waterproof it. Make a break in the power supply to the fans at a accessable position and install a 12v switch, these are avaliable from maplin. Mount inside the car, job done

 

why not just change the fan switch if it's found to be faulty? much quicker and simpler imo.

 

lol, this is so true!!! on a bit of a different note, my head gasket has just gone, ive just done a deal for a new whole engine!!!!! lol
