hi lads me again im in the middle of a bare shell stip down on a 1989 black s2 which needs a lot of work rear inner outer arches inner and outer sills all 4 floor pans front wings front cross member and rear o/s chassis leg bar that its mint lol

i am considering changing the colour and i realy fancy ford imperial blue and was wondering if any one has any pictures thanks

not imp blue, but my mate has a purple one, its subtle, but different.





incase you wanted some variation *edit* it looks black in those pics though! :doh:

 

Stick with the original colours buddy if your fully restoring it

Other colours make them look like replicas IMO and could make it harder to sell in the
future.

thanks lads mind still not made up i love the blue ones but i want it to stand out their must be hundreds of nice black s2's

rab was yours painted just standard ford imperial blue as yours looks a lot better colour than the first one (sorry just my opinion dont mean to offend)

 

Wasn't mine mate. Belonged to JamboRST off here. You'd have to ask him. Was a peach of a car though, really was a stunner to look at.

Mine were all RED... Best colour

 

if your going for a different colour look at cossie jewel violet, that would look wicket on aRST

 

I have mine pearlescent yellow looks great.

 

jewel violet never thought of that i mite get sum paint of each and test on the old wing thanks lads keep the ideas comming

be great to see a rst in that colour, every time I look at AJC's car it blows my mind, its an incredible colour

this mite upset some but i think moonstone looks to similar to silver doesn't realy stand out to me imo

 

obergine black looks realy nice on s2,s

 

the only thing with black that i dont like is when i have gone to all the trouble of minting up the underside its gona be black looks just like its been undersealed at least if its a colour its visable that the effort has been put in if that makes sence

 

It,s got to be FOCUS ST ORANGE with black rims.
