Default rear disc bias valve

i once had a rst which i fitted a rear disc conversion.I never fitted a bias valve and after sometime fitted to the car i founf the rear overtaking the front in a very scary mannor. They were removed from the car and sat in the garage.Im soon to have a high power cabriolet on the road and was thinking of fitting the rear disc kit to it. whats involved in fitting a bias valve, which do you recommend and how do i go around setting the rear brakes up when the conversion ids fitted???

I fitted a wilwood bias valve to mine and it still didnt knock enough power out of the rear to get it right!

This ended in a high speed spin at 2am on the A12! Very dangerous! Stick with the drums! If not, a peddle box (which I now have fitted) is the only way to get it right.

Lots of people run discs and have no problems, its only when you need to REALLY brake hard that you will discover you have a problem.

If you do use discs make sure you fit the shitest cheapest pads you can! Good quality high friction pads will only make the problem worse. Back brakes do less than 10% of the braking on a FWD car.

Need to re-pipe the brakes...

The RST has diagonal split circuits from the M/Cylinder

( Left Front/Right Front circuit & Right front/Left rear circuit)

So need to change to rear/front split, dump the rear compensators, and fit a adjustable bias valve
