just been offered this as a free upgrade from my normal n95 i have now,

with the lack of card slot how easy is it to put things on the phone ? ie i like the n95 i have now becuse you just take the card out and put it in a card reader to put your music on etc,

also can the 8gb run tomtom ? only thing that bothers me is sending all the files over to the phone and installing the app etc ?

Its not cast in stone but the 1st to arrive are due then.

A friend works in phones 4u and this is what he informed me when i asked last week.

I have had the n95 8gb since Novemebr and not had one single issue withit to be honest. Even dropped it couple of times and all thankfully was well.
Best Phone in my opnion and im sure other owners will vouch for that.

With the 16gb one well that is just a differnt league yet again.

 

but o2 arent going to give me a n96 for free are they and they can get fucked if im paying for a phone - been there done that pmsl

so far the reviews of the n96 aren't as good as i'd have hoped.
as far as i am aware they will be running a different OS, so unlike the n95, applications will be more difficult to create for them, thats if it is possible at all.

16 gb is great. but if you're only going to use it for music ect, i don't see it being that much more useful than the n95. especially with the applications available for the n95.

i guess time will tell. (or maybe just someone who actually knows the product through and through)

mate of mine has n95 8gb, i put tomtom on for him the other day and got it working fine with the internal GPS.
Get the 8gb on your new contract, if u want the n96 when it comes out, get the 8g put on ebay, you'll still get 250+ and then buy the n96.
Not a bad phone tbh, although I'm gonna wait 4 weeks and get the iphone 3g.

 

any more info on where and how to get tomtom on your mobile?
i tried the tomtom website and managed to get nowhere
