Hi folks,
Well as some of you know already, i had to to sell the Evo MR due to misses dad needing an operation, we could of waited on the NHS but we felt it'd be our place to pay for him rather than risk his life...
So, the Evo was sold to fund the op and thanfully all went well and he's doing good..
Now that we're back on track i thought do i go back to the Evo, or find another cossie, as like most of us, once in your blood, you're fooked..
So on thinking this i did decide to go for a cossie but finding a proper mint, nicely modded one these days is like trying to knit fog..
so i thought to myself, why not drop Max a PM about my old Saff and see if he'd consider selling.
Now as you all know this saff is probably one of the nicest left today, tastfully modded, no rust etc and i know the car, Max has done/is finishing off some nice mods to it of his own and it's as good,if not better than when he bought it a while back.
So, cut to the chase cus i'm waffling, Max & i have shook on a deal and the deposit is with him tomorrow so it'll be on it's way back to Coventry again..where hopefully it might stay with an owner for a year..
Regards Pete....

good on you mate, it is "just a piece of metal" afterall. good deed you'e done there
sure you will have just as much fun back in a cossie, look forward to see what you get. your old saph was one of the ultimate road going saph's IMO. stupidly mint and handy power.
good luck

Don't be such a pessimist
the car is going nowhere now for a while trust me
That poor car will be worth 3k soon with all these owners on the log book in the last 12 months

Its a great car, i had it in to do a repair on it recently and its one of the best saphs i have ever driven.
This quote totally overshadows the car though. Respect mate.

I wanna have a go now!
My HATE of Saphs is very well known! Perhaps this could change my mind and show me what people see in them!
As has been said Pete, you deserve such a good car for doing such a selfless act in helping out your father in law, i'v got total respect for you doing that mate, takes a special person!

Hope to see you at combe next month and finally see what all the fuss is about with this Saph!

It's certainly quite unique in the way it drives, most saffs do feel like horrible old barges when pushed, but i guess cos this one is so solid and has all the right bits on, it drives beautifully and handles extremely well

It's not the fastest, or the mintest, or the best handling.....but it's one of few cars that have a strong mix of all three of those things
