i watch it occasionally but i cant be bothered with all the arty farty design talk bollocks that the presenter constantly drivels. everythings so deep and meaningful rather than just being a lot of bricks,steel and glass arranged in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

now you come to mention it, although i often get a blip on the gaydar with him. maybe he's a bit ac/dc

 

can't agree mate.. it doesn't necessarily need to be so "artistic" for want of a better word. i can appreciate a good house, and maybe some of the more artistic aspects need to be considered to achieve the end result but i have to admit he can grate on the nerves a little banging on about it all the time!

the work / effort he put in on that house / church was stuning, i'd have spent a good 45mins pulling out some old wood, then fucked off down the pub


seriously tho nice place, should have stuck the pol to one side, out of the way etc

and that pol bit was crying out for the mother of home cinema systems

 

I think the importance of good design is missed in most developments/buildings. I think its a misunderstanding of the general public as to what architects and designers do and what benefit they can add. I also think architects have marketed themselves into a position of elitism. But I truly think the benefits of good design can bring great rewards to any building, well worth the additional thought and sometimes money. Secondly the services an architect can offer in managing a build to protect the home owner from the difficulties of construction are far underated.
Kevin has a passion for design and an understanding on what design can offer, as well as an appreciation of the professionals who offer the services, and is prepared and able to offer his opinion on it.

i agree with you justin.

a year or 2 ago kevin arranged a scheme where you could see an architect for free, which i guess was an attempt to change people's attitudes

 

Him and his wife are one of my ex's adoptive (for want of a better word) parents, basically they are her uncle and aunt, and she lived with them after her dad (kev's brother i think, rather than the wife) died, so know em pretty well.

His wife is a right goon, but he is sound as fuck, and wouldnt blame him for one min if he smashing all the birds, as his wifes a stuck up boring cow from my experience, and they was always arguing as (fair play to him) he was always out doing better things.

As for super sperm, they got 2/3 kids (i cant remember how many, kept away from them lil posh fuckers as much as poss ), but maybe he got 100s more with all the women on the show, who knows

As for gay, nah, just posh as fuck, live in a posh as fook tudor mansion, and all their other family members live in various posh yards in the area, and they all talk like they in the royal family

Bet they LOVED a chavvy looking/sounding twat like me smashing the shit out of their lovely girl

 

He lives round the corner from me. Seen him in the Docs, and now I know he was probably getting preggers kits for all the "wenches". Seen him slumming it in Homebase too!

I always hate how, just before the adverts, he's so smug about how all the builds are going to shit!
