how 20bhp is gained ?
it may be giving the engine more air but there is no more feul or no mare boost so how 20bhp
i could may be understand a few but 20 is a lot on a t34 setup ?

It is always going to need more fuel as is any manifold that increases power/airflow.

I am asuming that somone has a mapper that can adjust their AFRs accordingly back to previous setting.

ahh right then ofcourse but how you said it is you bolt it on and another 20bhp for you !
so you would need one of them and a live map to have it sorted then !

You are not going to make ANY more power without increasing airflow so an adjustment of fuelling will have to be made whatever manifold you bolt on to gain power.

Infact it was at you. If you increase the volumetric efficiency of the engine, you can make more power with less boost (or at worst, the same boost)...

My nova engine should see more power than the average stage 3 cossie (which id say average is about 330) but by running only 10 psi of boost, the reason being that unlike most folks crappy YB engines, mine can actually breathe.

Sweede inlet is a FOOOOOOOOOKIN pain to fit as the throttlebody gets very close and high to the outlet from the intercooler.

Bit of a strange statement that.

A swedish plenum would be perfectly suitable for a 550 bhp engine.

Its strong, but its not exactly an easy breather, the power you get for the boost levels you run is pretty pathetic generally IMHO, the VE just isnt all that great, and people never seen to do much about it, they just bolt on a bigger turbo.
It works, I just prefer the idea of more revs and less power personally, but it depends what you are doing with it.

Still love driving mine, but I just dont look at the engine with the RSOC issue rose tinted specs, lol

Yeah but if you look at the Ford range, the YB is the best VE-wise (although i'm not sure about the Duratec - that really is very good!).. CVH is dreadful, Zetec is halfway between the CVH and YB..
