hi peeps, after I wrote off my poor skoda





I am considering 2 options! golf mk2 ( dunno the engine ) or an escort mk3 diesel!

dont have pics of the golf, but its white, very beautiful. and this is the escort.



maybe give it a lick of paint. and what about diesel, is she a feckin pit?

oops! sorry to see you crashed the skoda, go for the Escort, jus check for rott all over it, inner wings/Apillars/chassis legs !!

Escort looks nice, never seen one in that colour either!
Or a 1.8 Diesel, that came in much later in the 80s in the UK anyway.

I was hugely disappointed with my experience of a Mk2 Golf (and it was a 16v GTi as well!), Mk3/4 Escort drive much nicer, more reliable, better design, styling etc etc...

 

1.8 diesel wont be bad on fuel at all, very economical! it'll either be 55 bhp or 75, unless it's a turbo diesel.

 

yeah its a 1.8 diesel and its has no turbo, guy told me the engien came from a mk6, "finger style manifold". the only downside is the brown interior. anyways tomorrow am going to see another escort mk3, hope its a good un!

I'd get whichever has the least rot/most MoT!

Would be more inclined to go for the Mk2, but that's because I had one and it was ace.

 

Everyone told me they were ace and I always thought they looked great..... but I hated mine! Constantly broke, leaked and smelt funny....

Maybe I just got a really shit one?
