advice needed ASAP please

been ruinning the cossie on mobil1 fully synth 15w 40..went to top it this morning and like a plank i put in fully synth 0w 40!!

am i gona be alright running this or am i asking for trouble

Do you mean you were running 15/50?

Mate,

half a litre agaisnt the other 3.5ish litres that are in there will make no difference. All will be ok.

thing is that bottle has been in the back of the car for a while so whos to say iv not been using that one...wats the worst case scenario??

if you are honestly that concerened, just change the oil for some fresh stuff.

but if you only added half a litre...i wouldnt lose any sleep over it
