As more get written off, broken for parts the remaining ones will go up if they are kept in good condition. Escort owners only need to look how much 3drs are fetching now even for rough ones. Only time will tell.

up up up and away... Escorts are in the "dip" at the moment, same as 3 doors went through a few years ago, and saffs went through as well. Now you cannot get a clean 3 door for anywhere under 7-8k really, and saffs are 4-5k for a half decent one, both models a few years ago were making 20-30% less than that.....

Escorts will drop (as they have been doing), then come back at very strong money as they are a true classic, much like the 3 doors, and saffs will get much rarer and hence more ŁŁ.

I think they will stay the same or go slightly up, I doubt the fuel price will have much impact

NO. cars like the cosworth will not be affected buy this, you dont buy a cossie for the every day haul do you!?

its a toy, hobbie a weekend car. fuel price is irrelevent.

Maby i should tuck my cossie away for a rainy day then, as the market seems stale at the mo!

Fuel prices will never affect the price of cosworth, peoples urge for the fun and power thrill will put the fuel costs aside and they will still buy...

I think they'll stay around the same.

I bought mine in 2003, and you can still buy something similar now for the same money.

Saph & 3 door prices are on the up, for good spec and well looked after car are fetching very very good money

The last 2 4x4 Saph i've sold the 304-R Rouse Sport fetched 10.5k and my Moonstone Blue Saph Fetched 8.5k

It goes to show the right spec and well looked after cars are fetching top money

If you buy the right car to start with you shouldn't loose any money

I'm willing to bet that in 3 years time they will be about the same. It's not a long time is it? These cars are 20 years old already. So they'll be 23 years old? Big deal.
