Default Raced A Subaru!! Guess Wat Happend

my rs turbo fcuked up lol, i was red lining it was flying, after the race wen i was drivin normal, started 2 hesitate n struggle 2 move, i jus had it dyno'd 2 weeks before at 233bhp@16psi (flywheel fig) so i thought pistons, took engine out there fine, but i swapped the head wiv a fiesta turbo 1 an used a adaptor plate from oddkidd so i got frst head on mfi management, put it all bk 2geva an it wont start, ive got petrol entering the metering unit and the return, but no petrol coming out the 4 union red injector pipes, any ideas plz help i want to get my rst bk on the road!!

ive changed/checked the following
black ecu
plugs
meterin unit x2
earths/sensors/clips/pipes
pink relay

i havnt changed the relay in fuse box thts got ke on it, is tht worth changing?

it starts like it runs on 3 cylinders for 1 secound then cuts out, im guessin thts the cold start fuel feed, as its not metered, plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try pressing down the flap in the metering head whilst cranking, only 10mm or so. Do this and it should start.

That is weird. Is there fuel coming through the pipe from the pump? If there is it's definately a metering unit fault, which is normally caused by the flap......

Deffo not a compression problem.

if running on 3 the first thing u should do is check compression just to rule it out, esp after giving it alot of stick

if there is no fuel coming out of the fuel metering unit unscrew the top of the metering unit and check to see if the plunger has got stuck, this is what the flap pushes against to release fuel, or another way is to tap the top of the metering unit with a hammer whilst someone cranks the car over and if the plunger is stuck it may release and the car will fire up

'''''That is weird. Is there fuel coming through the pipe from the pump? '''''

yes m8, there is fuel cuming out the filter pipe with plenty of pressure, but theres no pressure inside the metring unit, iv tried tappin the flap 5-10mill whilst turning it ova, i even tried pushin down on it a couple of inch an it makes this buzzin sound tht sounds electrical from sumwer behind the inlet manifold area ???

check the fuel pressure regulator that sits at the back of the metering unit. Last time my RST died it was due to that as it totally blocked. The cold start injector is not governed by that and that could be why it runs for a few seconds as its running on the cold start.
