as above been offered a huntsman quaife box but never heard of anyone running one?

 

the only thing i dont like about the mtx is the cutting of the wing

would ned to make sure you put more back in then you take out!

what about the st170 6 speeder?

 

ive seen a couple of pics somewhere of the inner wing cut to take this conversion.To be honest its less than i thought that needs cutting. But as meantioned,you would need to make sure you keep it as strong as poss and reinforce it.need to fabricate some mounts,shafts and mod the gear linkage. I think a 6 speed conversion is a bit more involved than the mtx75 box.

for straight fitment ive heard people tend to go with the IB5 box??????

i worked out the 6 speed box is cheaper to fit and easyer than the mtx75

2.2s 60ft times on road tyres can't be bad!!


Alternative is something from bara - think dingy wants to have a look at my PE box to see if they can see why it's lasted. It's supposed to be not much better than standard, but is still not dead yet after numerous trackdays and high miles
