Ive been offered the bike mentioned, it seem's to be genuine the decals are too good. Is this a special edition Kona??? Im thinking of buying it and putting it away. Its bare alloy with Blue Kona, then Colin Mc Rae special edition on the top tube.

He and Grist used to use the bikes for training between rallies so Kona snapped the opertunity to cash in on the legend.

Yea well they are not worth that much, except for the limited edition, otherwise I think it weight 13kg or so ?

 

i have one of these with all original equipment on brakes, tyres etc etc any idea what people would pay for them i think its stage one limted edition.

 

My one, had for a few years now, bought it on ebay for just under Ł200

 

Saw some guy in forest of dean on one of them last weekend
