Default Help abs for my mot

My 91 s2 rst failed on the abs light being on all the time how can I sort this out And no its to late to just take the bulb out. The belts arent on. What do you guys do allso Is there a sensor anywhere.

Clocks out, black tape over abs contacts, then wire the abs light to the oil light. the light will come on and go out with the oil light.

You want to wire it to the handbrake light not the oil light.

To be honest I wouldn't bother - I'd either put the belts back on or tape up the switches to put the light out...

as above, if you want the light to still work then wire it to the handbrake light otherwise just take the bulb out..

If the belts are not on this is why the ABS light is on, All the light does is tell you that the belt is brocken thats all, its not a ABS lamp as on any other car,

PS you cant take the bulb out fot the mot as the light has to follow a sequence. Unless you get a tester that dont no

I was of the belief that you had to remove the ABS system for the MOT to have no ABS and simply removing the belts does not suffice as all you have is a non functioning ABS system.

my light was on cos belts were cut.so i took bulb out and wen it went 4 mot it came back with an advisory that the light didnt work.didnt fail tho.most places dont even know about the abs on these cars.do that or like sum1 has said,wire it to handbrake light mate

ive had the bulb taken out for 4 years now and its never been mentioned
