Thought some of you may be interested, and i'm bored!

This was my cheap run around i bought when i got my saph, however, living in a comunity obsessed with 205's and rallying, and also having a mate who is very good at tuning peugeot diesels, it didn't stay standard long!

When i first got it, comedy ride height!





then i bought a set of 1.9 rims cheap off a mate, and gave them a refurb in ford mercury grey (apparently, although halfords paint looks blue!)








Then the head gasket went, and it seemed rude not too play with some very cheap bits lying around.....



lowered.... (Gaz adjustables, nearly new, 80 quid! seemed rude not too!)



with the cooler on and everything running





in full on slag mode!

on the rollers, with the old 1.8 and not alot of boost (14 psi) and making 104 bhp and 170 ft ib of torque (standard is 78 bhp)........

Its now got a 1.9 306 lump in after the 1.8 died doing a 12 car rally, which is running 22 psi of boost and about to have a piper cam fitted (again, cheap cheap!)

reminds me of when my mate Andy had his 1.5 Diesel Corsa, He had some big fuck off spot lights on the bonnet & some other stick on crap. He used to abuse it everywhere & drive it to the limits, Was only his everyday cheap runner that turned out to be a legend LOL


how much did that cost you to build?

 

dont know, not added it up, i'd say its well under 1k though!
The main problem is having to buy new bottom arm bushes every month, its got so much torque it just tears them apart! lol
